On Oct. 16, Psyonix officially kicked off “Haunted Hallows,” the first ever Halloween-themed event for “Rocket League.” Although released in time for Halloween, the theme is not at all spooky. The event introduces a new and limited currency called Candy Corn, which can be earned by completing online matches. These can be accessed by clicking on the “Special Event” icon on the main menu screen. The more games online, the more chances of earning Candy Corn, which players can use to redeem Halloween items, Decryptors, and locked Haunted Hallows crates. It should be noted that all Candy Corn will expire a week after the event but the purchased items will not. So players should be careful to trade in all their Candy Corn as soon as possible.
